Providing this with your first contact, before your first appointment, will greatly speed the planning of treatment for you as a patient. By supplying insurance information early, we can estimate your benefits and create a treatment plan that works with your policy. This also helps in reducing misunderstandings and everyone is happier with the treatment.
If you participate in an HMO you should check with the carrier. HMOs have a very specific list of dentists for which they provide benefits, and if you are treated by a dentist not on their list, they will deny benefits.
